Broadforks! We finally found a source for quality broadforks, from Treadlite Broadforks. Broadforks allow you to work your own soil in a way that preserves soil structure, beneficial organisms and is gentle on the earth (no gas required!).
For our urban gardens and clay soil, we love the 4-tine All-Day Broadfork. For established beds, go with the ash handle. For breaking new ground, go with the steel handles. You can always order ash later when your beds are nice and fluffy.
