About the artist: Growing up in Sydney, Australia, James Gulliver Hancock studied Visual Communications at Sydney's University of Technology. Since then he has traveled extensively, including artist residencies all across Europe and an overland journey from Sydney to London via S.E. Asia, China, Japan, Russia, and Europe. These days he spends his time between his two studios, one in Brooklyn, NY and the other by the beach in Sydney.
